Cory Stoltz #2
This 6’2”, 175 pound junior is a good shooting guard but also has the skills to run the point position. Cory’s biggest asset is his defense and he’ll be called upon to lock down the other team’s best players. He is the son of Dave and Kathy Stoltz.
Cory is a good student who enjoys math and plans on attending college after his high school career. Aside from basketball, his favorite thing at Manheim Township is the girls. His favorite music is by Wale and his favorite sports teams are the Eagles and Phillies. His future plans include traveling the world.
Niki Veronis #3
The son of Nicholas and Susan Veronis, Niki is a junior point guard. He is 6’ 1” and weighs 180 pounds. He always hustles and plays good defense. Niki is a good passer and ball handler who helps to create opportunities for his teammates.
Niki is a good student who plans on going to college. He roots for the Sixers and Eagles and listens to Eminem. Also a varsity tennis player, Niki enjoys sports and his friends at Manheim Township. His lifetime goal is simply to have a happy family
Mark Stratton #4
Mark is a senior and three year varsity player. At 5’ 11” and 160 pounds, Mark plays the point guard position. He is like a coach on the floor directing his teammates to where they are to go. He is an excellent defender and passer who sees the floor well. He is the third son of Pat and Dennis Stratton to play basketball at Manheim Township.
Mark was a big part of the successful MT Lacrosse team. He is a good student and plans to go to college to become a teacher and a coach. He roots for New York Giants and Knicks and likes to listen to J-Cole. His goal for this year is to win every game.
Tyler Mitchell #5
Tyler Mitchell is the son of Bill and Donna Mitchell. He is a good all around basketball player with varied skills. They include hounding the other teams guards, getting to the basket with dribble penetration and hitting the open jump shot. This 5’10”, 170 pound senior can play both the shooting and point guard positions.
Tyler is a good student and after college, he would like to someday enter the physical therapy /rehab field. Aside from basketball, he enjoys video games, listening to all kinds of music and rooting for Philadelphia Eagles. His most memorable sports moment was his first varsity basketball game as a sophomore.
Dallas Hasson #13
Dallas is a 6’ 1” 190 pound Junior forward. Dallas has a very good mid-range jumpshot and will take the ball to the basket. He runs the floor very well and likes to play in the open floor. He is the son of Mark and Melissa Hasson and his younger brother Christian plays on the 9th grade team.
A good student, Dallas takes advanced classes and would like to go to law school. He also plays on the football team at Manheim Township. He roots for the Lakers and the Cowboys. He likes the sports and the girls at township and listens to Hip Hop.
Jomar Guerrero #15
Jomar is a 6’ 2”, 175 pound junior forward. He is a talented player who can shoot, score off the dribble, and rebound. His parents are Iris Batiz and John Guerrero.
His favorite things about Manheim Township high school are his friends, the sports and the girls. At the end of his high school years he plans to go to college. Jomar’s favorite sports teams are the Miami Heat and New York Giants. He’d like someday to meet Dwyane Wade and he likes Hip Hop and Rap music. Jomar is a Lakers fan and likes watching the Lakers win the NBA championship.
Josh Trach #21
Josh is a 5’11” 153 pound Junior guard. He is a good shooter and excellent defender. With his speed and quickness he helps his team at both ends of the court. Josh is the son of Mark and Donna Trach.
A good student whose favorite subject is history, Josh plans to go on to college. He roots for the Eagles, Phillies and Sixers and listens to Nas. Aside from basketball, Josh enjoys golf, tennis and food. Someday he hopes to have the chance to visit every continent in the world.
Alex Palmer #22
Alex is the son of Bill and Diane Palmer and will play both the guard and forward positions. At 5’11”, 175 pounds, this senior is a good shooter, is always hustling, and plays hard-nosed defense.
An excellent student, Alex plans to go on to college. He is one of the top high school golfers in Lancaster County. His favorite subject is accounting and he listens to DMB. He is a Los Angeles Dodgers and Lakers fan and likes watching the Lakers win the NBA championship.
Shawn Hines #25
Shawn is the son of Deb and Ed Hines. This 6’4”, 175 pound junior plays the forward position. A smart player, Shawn works hard, has a real nice touch on his jump shot and is a very good shot blocker. He follows two older siblings, Derek and Kevin, who have both played basketball at F&M.
Shawn is an excellent student who likes math and he plans on going to college and grad school. He is an All Star volleyball player for the Streaks. He plays the piano and saxophone and likes to listen to Kid Cudi and Kanye. Shawn is a fan of the Miami Heat and the Duke Blue Devils.
Brennan Scott #32
A sophomore and 6’ 1”, 180 pounder plays both the forward and guard positions. Brennan is a good shooter and defender and is strong enough to get rebounds and score inside. His parents are Jason and Ingrid Scott.
Aside from basketball, Brennan also plays the quarterback position on the Blue Streak football team. His lifetime goal is to play Division 1 college football, preferably for the Florida Gators, and eventually in the NFL
Jordan Ness #33
Jordan is a junior guard with good outside shooting abilities and can handle the ball well.
This 6’ 2”, 162 pounds guard is the son of Margaret and Kevin Ness.
Jordan is an excellent student who plans to go on to college to study business. He listens to
Rap and Hip Hop music and likes the Washington Wizards and Green Bay Packers. His most memorable sports moment came when he got to see Michael Jordan play.
Adam Yunginger #35
The son of Mike and Pam Yunginger, Adam took a year off from basketball last season but is back to help the Streaks on the inside this year. At 6’4” and 225 pounds, he is a good rebounder and defender with a nice short range jump shot.
Adam is also a talented baseball player and his favorite sports moment came when the Streaks won the Section one baseball title last year. He plans on going on to college to play baseball. Aside from sports, Adam likes to play video games, listen to Hip Hop and rap, and root for the Baltimore Orioles and Duke Blue Devils. His favorite thing about Manheim Township is the
Dawg Pound.
Darren Chillot #40
Darren is solid player who can do a variety of things on the floor. This senior forward stands at 6’ and weighs 200 pounds. After suffering a knee injury last season, Darren has worked hard to get back to playing condition in both football and basketball. Darren is the son of Lew and Deb Chillot.
A good student, Darren likes marketing and plans to go on to college and get a successful job. He is a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and listens to a variety of music. Darren was a four year member of the Blue Streaks football team. This year he earned the football teams prestigious “Steve Hermann Award” which is given to a senior who displays an unselfish attitude and
dedication to the team.
Billy Vaughan-Geib #54
The son of Jeff Geib and Dana Vaughan, Billy is a junior lefthander who has some excellent post moves. At 6’ 6” and 205 pounds, Billy can rebound and defend and is a good shot blocker. He has an uncanny ability to score from various angles from the inside.
A good student, Billy likes Accounting and plans to go on to college after his high school years. His favorite sports team is the San Diego Chargers. Aside from basketball, Billy likes to listen to Tech Nane and hope to make lots of money someday.
Hogan Ross # 55
At 6’6” and 200 pounds, Hogan plays a big role on the inside for the Streaks. He defends well and is a good shot blocker who can shoot the ball from mid-range and score on the inside. Hogan is the son of Kristine and Pat Ross.
Hogan is also a member of the Manheim Township Lacrosse team and his most memorable sports moment was winning the District III Lacrosse championship. He roots for the University of North Carolina and Baltimore Ravens and his favorite music is from “Third Eye Blind”. He is a honor roll student who enjoys math and plans to go on to college. His goal is to win a state championship.
